Thanksgiving can be stressful enough; That’s why we are here to make your day a little easier! We have chosen some popular Thanksgiving dishes & paired them with your favorite Adirondack Winery wines. With this list and our holiday wine deals, you’ll have a menu that your dinner guests will be truly thankful for!

TURKEY – The Star of the Show!

The highlight of Thanksgiving dinner is, of course, the turkey. These three wines best compliment your main course while providing variety for every wine drinker!

Our Pinot Noir is a medium-bodied, red wine with aromas & flavors of black cherry, raspberry & strawberry, buttery-toasted tones and a nice acid on the finish. This versatile wine pairs well with nearly any red or white meat and compliments both the white & dark meat of the turkey, while playing well with seasonings such as rosemary, thyme and parsley.

Gewurztraminer – $13.95

Our Gewurztraminer is a slightly sweet and spicy white wine with an aroma of lychees, a tropical fruit that is part of the soapberry family. The spice is a nice compliment to the flavor of the turkey, as well as its seasonings.

Red Carriage – $14.95

The crisp taste of fresh cranberries is harmoniously blended with the fruity, velvety richness of Chianti in this sweet, red wine. Robust, yet elegant, semi-sweet cranberry flavors make it the perfect Thanksgiving companion!

Our Dry Riesling is a moderately, full-bodied wine that is well-rounded, but zesty and fresh. Aromas of apricot and peach, followed by nutty notes make this wine the perfect match for sweet potatoes!

The earthy, herb-like tones in traditional stuffing make a great match for our Cabernet Sauvignon. Our Cabernet has an unmistakable texture and black currant nose. Firm tannins envelop the wine, locking in its dark cherry color. Earthly and floral tones give this wine complexity as it pushes forward dynamic fruit tones that are nicely balanced with oak.

This semi-sweet white wine is intensely flavorful, reminiscent of a freshly cut green apple. The pleasant, soft acidity and luscious, fruity aroma of this crisp Gewurztraminer make it the perfect pairing for homemade apple pie!

This lightly oaked, dry white wine shows ripe pear fruit on the nose and is extraordinarily well-balanced. Slight tones of vanilla and coconut come through on the finish, allowing it to hold up well to a creamy pumpkin pie!
